I think I know now what I didn't know then....

...as Toby Keith says or at least a variation of that.
Ok, so I feel like my 20's were training wheels for my 30's. I actually enjoy life way more these days. Seems the little things don't bother me anymore. I remember the days when I worried about impressing people, what people think, etc. You get the idea. I'm sure you've been there trying to get someone's attention who is likely not even going to remember your name a week from now.......So, I think I recently saw a quote that says it all. It was reportedly coined by Dr. Seuss....."Be who you are and say what you feel cause those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind."
I think I know now what you mean.....
AMEN Anne, my 30s were my "training wheels" for my 40s. My kids are 6 years shy of all being gone! (I'm the Mom of 5 gorgeous kids). I'm lovin' life and adding fun people to my circle of friends!
Life is to short to be taken too seriously.
