Greetings Bloggers!
The word of the DAY is 'MEETINGS' (I have been in too many today)
Today is Thursday! I am in sunny Seattle and life is flipping radicle!! (good gawwd i said radicle) SO much to talk about today! Fist off for many of my friends and family who told me I would hate going back to the city, HA your wrong. It was 73 degrees today and just picture perfect here in WA! When its on here its on. Thats for sure. Meaning the weather when the sun comes out and such its probably one of the most beautiful places to live in the states. Wait a sec I sound like one of those annoying weathermen on the TV! Those dudes are so lame sometimes. Have you watched real close, how they can't stop smiling? Its almost like they have a secret punch-line that they are not letting the rest of us in on? LOL
Very excited about tomorrow. Our station is putting on our first concert. I get to play drums and I am super stoked. I really have not played intensely in about 5 years so I fell like its going to suck. HA! But it's like riding a bike, once you get in and dig in its SUPER DUPER ok. Trent Tomlinson is the main act for us and he seems pretty cool?!?!?! From what he has done in the past the dude has ton of high energy and seems like someone who Nashville has not quite thrown their arms around completely! Kind of like an outlaw and thats ok, sometimes those are the best dudes to hang with when they are just getting things rolling in their career!
Things I have surfed and read...SCARY STUFF for SODA LOVERS....
Sure, cola can seem refreshing, but let's get right down to it: it has little - if any - nutritional value. It can cause tooth decay, diabetes and softening of the bones. But doctors have now found that it can cause muscle problems, heart rhythm abnormalities and a dangerous drop of potassium levels in your blood. Dr. Moses Elisaf, from the University of Ioannina in Greece, led an academic review of the growing issue and says, "We are consuming more soft drinks than ever before and a number of health issues have already been identified including tooth problems, bone demineralisation and the development of metabolic syndrome and diabetes." His study followed patients who drank two or more liters of cola a day. One woman had to go to the hospital because she was suffering from tiredness, loss of appetite and vomiting. And some people who drank too much cola suffered from muscle problems that ranged anywhere from "mild weakness to profound paralysis!" Sure, some of these people drank up to nine liters a day...but if something can result in this, should you be putting any of it into your body?
The scary part here is I love soda, Diet Mt. Dew at least a gallon of that a day i drink.
I should be dead in a year now.....sheesh thanks....
