Psycho Boyfriend anyone ! ....

So last week I had major drama....... My 16 1/2 year old daughter called me crying and hysterical... The reason, her boyfriend of 3 mos had texted her the day before to break up...... Totally stupid reasons but Texted her none the less...... (what is this world coming to when we can't even break up face to face or with a phone call?) So he continued his texting campaign (unbeknownst to me) throughout the evening THEN had the audacity to call her up DRUNK at 2am (where does he get off?)...... She said a few choice words and hung up (Taught that girl something !)

Here's where the drama comes in......(Lord help me I didn't kill this kid) .... He gave my daughter a puppy 3 weeks prior to this..... He continued texting and calling demanding the puppy..... Threatened MY BABY GIRL and said he was coming to the house (they had Spring Break and she was home alone).... I'm at work and unable to leave at the time so I call Good friends hubby (also neighbor),  the Police (non emergency number, of course) and my oldest son at work ! (did I overdo it?!  NO not in today's mentality... not to mention I had crazy ex at one time and was not letting my little girl get hurt!) ..... MEANWHILE, Friend and Son go to my house (these are BIG boys.... Dont think Skinny EX will mess with them!)  Officer calls me, I tell him story, he calls daughter for ex-boyfriends info to contact him  and daughter is STILL crying and scared.... EX is parked out in front of my house with a friend !  PO states he is on his way ! Two cars show up in time for as my Son left work and was not a happy camper and was ready to break this kid ! 

Sooooo I rush out of work afraid Son will get arrested for Killing kid.... He's very protective of his Baby Sister (& his family for that matter)....  Anyway EX demands puppy all the while, saying nasty things to and about my daughter (which doesn't bode well with MAMA BEAR!)  I explained to Officer this was not a piece of furniture and under no circumstance was this puppy go back to that jerk ! 

Anywhooo, I,thru EX's friend, explicited explained to him  what was going to happen to him if he continued this behavior.  Later he texts my daughter (she was not to text back) BEGGING her forgiveness, begging her to call and promising to get help.  I provided him the number for mental health help (I work at a good place)..... Will he get help.....?  I hope so.... Will he date my daughter again..... (H ! NO)  Been there done that and explained to daughter about her safety and mental stability ! 

So my question is,  Has anyone else had a similar situation..... What was your response and how did you handle it ! ?
