I'm blogging for Wingnut once again, even though I never never hear from him again...you'd think I would since I used to be his "at-work-wife" lol.
Today is tax day! Hope you got yours done! It was painful to know we've worked from the first of the year until NOW to pay the government! yikes, huh? turns out the people in Denver procrastinate much more than the average. Turbo Tax studies this strangely enough. Yep, they put together a list that states the folks in San Francisco are number one for puttin it all off. Denver, I think was 17 but Seattle made the list too...higher up than the people in the mile high city.
Colorado Springs did NOT make the list! Too many responsible, conservative republican types with sensible shoes. Certainly.
Are you digging the re-make Carrie Underwood did for American Idol? the one they play when someone goes home? Turns out it was originally done by Motley Crue....thanks to fabulous Charlene, midday personality on Tulsa's KBEZ for digging that one up. I couldn't remember who did it first.....just that there was a lot of Aqua Net involved. Really. I think you can remember rocking out to them wearing your Guess zip leg jeans and turned up polo shirts! Oh,and big hair. I think mine had it's own zip code...pretty sure it did.
And speaking of Idol...we send another one home tonight! Is anyone else hoping it will be Lil Rounds? I mostly don't like her for hating on the country week, which disappointed me greatly. I felt like Johnny Cash was rolling over in his grave when the fabulous little Adam Lambert re-made Ring of Fire with a middle Eastern feel. "Boy, what did you do to my freakin' song?" I can hear it, can you?
And beans...it's whats for dinner. Let's all raise our hands if we're cooking more beans lately. I think it's the current economic crisis the media so foundly calls it. Anyway, beans are what's for dinner. I've made it cool to my six year old by teaching her what grandpa taught me....'Beans Beans...the magical fruit, the more you eat the more you toot, the more you toot the better you feel, so let's have beans every meal!!!!" yay! grandpa.

Shouldn't be to long and Nut should be back up and running...... silly guy packed his computer with his blogging rights on it !
The Weather is AWWWWESOME ! So I'm waiting for it to end. But while its nice I too enjoyed a wonderful walk with two (I have 4) of my fur kids. River (my chocolate minpin) and Luna (our newest baby 4mos old Pit Terrier) River is well mannered but Luna is not ! Lets just say walking and falling......not so much fun ! Skinned the palm of my hand a little and hurt my pride..... once we got it coordinated everything went well..... Coming home was interesting...... Luna (at 20+ pounds) decided she'd had enough and sat down..... had to push....pull.....and drag her tired self home ! Guess I'll have to keep our walks to 1 mile or less for awhile ....LOL....
And Anne I'll arm wrestle ya for the King ! LOL he is quite dashing in his mature age ! LOL
Anyway... Thats my contribution.... For the love of GOD Nut hurry up and get back on here !

Did you guys in Colorado notice the nice weather yesterday? OH, I was so so so sick...my temperature was sunny and 68, I went to my healing place of Palmer Park to hike it out. I'm better now, thanks. Isn't it funny how nice weather after a long winter will make you want to call in sick?
So it looks like poor Jessica Simpson is no longer signed to the Sony Nashville label. Come on....was "Come on Over" really THAT bad?
George Strait is eligible for the Senior Coffee at McDonalds, still looks scrumdillyumptious (Wingnut word)! And has 57 number ones under his biggo belt! He'll be honored with a special on CBS on May 27th...cause he's the Academy of Country Music's Artist of the Decade! I think if he ever leaves his wife and Boyfriend Chad ever leaves me, I'll get the blessing to be with George! ha! Ok, I'm back awake and among you all now.
Are we THAT stupid that we're paying MORE for less in those little soda cans? I mean porition control, I get it, but can't we just split a soda or NOT drink one if we're looking to cut back? Apparently not!
And I took my bad dog for a walk earlier this week. He's an Australian Cattle Dog and I usually get "What is THAT?" or people know right away. He's a real butthole with strangers but he's my butthole. I'm sure you must have someone furry and similar in your life. Enjoy their loyal company for sometimes the four-legged friends are better than the two-legged ones.
