your grade school teachers....

ahhhhhhhhh love my buddy Wingnut with whom I work on the radio each and every morning.  He did a 10-minute telephone poll this morning on "How many of your teachers' names can you remember....?"  I think I have it:

Kindergarten  Grove, OK     Mrs. Beachchamp (she had horses)

First grade  Grove, OK     Mrs. Horn (her husband was a large animal vet--soooo cool)

Second grade  @ Peters in Tulsa, OK  Ms. Wheeler (I baked her a birthday cake and organized a surprise party)

Third grade @ Kendall in Tulsa, OK  Ms. Heaton  (met my best friend Beth Millington in her class, she was asked to show me around as the NEW kid)

Fourth grade @ Thomsas J. Melton Tulsa, OK  Mrs. Chronister (saw her once int he grocery story and couldn't believe she had a REAL life outside of us)

Fifth grade @ Kendall in Tulsa, OK   Ms. Burleson (I was sick a whole lot in her class but managed to make it through ok)

Sixth grade @ Kendall in Tulsa, OK  Mr. Clark (he had a goatee before it was cool and REALLY RED hair, he read to us everyday---Tom Sawyer, Huck Finn, and when it was nice outside, we took class outside under a tree)

Can you remember yours?

Teachers

I too grew up in an area where middle school was a foreign concept.

Grade School..... Wow

LOL I only remember One teacher's name...... I remember (somewhat) some of the others but due to a head trauma accident I suffered in my sophmore year my memories of my younger days are sketchy!

2nd Grade Darmstadt Germany Mrs. Liebert!  She was awesome, I loved her because she protected me from the other kids..... I was the odd girl out!

I was bilingual, my first language was German..... German Mom, American Soldier Dad and I spent my first 11 years in Germany, Born and breed! LOL

So anyway, I had a language and speech impediment and got teased ALOT... Mrs. Liebert always came to my rescue... She was awesome..

Makes me feel OLD just thinking that far back.......... LOL

D   :)

If you're feeling OLD then I

If you're feeling OLD then I should be feeling OLD!  and I flat out refuse......ha.  Thanks for you participation by the way, we really appreciate you.
